The Protagonist

The Antagonist
A mid-level Barbados police officer corrupted by power and greed. He orchestrated the robbery to retrieve the sensitive material for his unseen superiors. Smug and calculating, he represents the systemic rot the brothers must confront.

The Desperate One
Stretcher’s partner-in-crime. Younger, more impulsive, and ultimately terrified. His panicked attempt to flee results in the accidental shooting of a cashier, a tragedy that personally entangles him with Remere’s world in a cruelly ironic twist.

The Catalyst
Remere’s son. Intelligent and somewhat sheltered, his assault is the inciting incident. He becomes the emotional core of the story, forcing his father and uncle into action.

From a wealthy family, representing a world of privilege juxtaposed with the Scott’s more grounded reality.
